CGS Aviation - Broadview Heights, Ohio , U.S.A.
When the CGS Hawk debuted in 1982, it was the first fully enclosed ultralight. It was also the first ultralight to use full strut bracing, and incorporated full 3 axis controls (including conventional steerable nose or tail wheel). The CGS Hawk was also the first ultralight to utilize fully functional wing flaps. Following the Hawk's leadership, competitive designs have since followed and entered the market, but even after 22 years none of them possesses the form, function, and and owner loyalty the CGS Hawk enjoys. The CGS Hawk, still remains the standard of comparison for the ultralight/light aircraft industry around the world. The CGS Hawk design definitely paved the way for others to follow, and in 1999 Chuck Slusarczyk was one of the first three ultralight pioneers inducted into the EAA Ultralight Hall of Fame during its inaugural year.

Fisher Flying Products - Edgeley, North Dakota, U.S.A.
Fisher Flying Products has reproduced the flying qualities of many classic airplanes in structurally sound and extremely affordable aircraft. These ultra light and experimental aircraft have proven aerodynamic stability and desirable flight characteristics. From the company’s modern plant in Edgeley, North Dakota, the components for 15 classic replicas are manufactured by trained and experienced craftsmen. Research and development for new aircraft is on-going. Fisher Flying Products’ entire line of aircraft is sold throughout the United States and in 30 foreign countries. All models are available in two build-it-yourself forms: a standard construction kit, which offers the builder the experience of assembling the entire aircraft from pre-cut, shaped and slotted wooden pieces, machined hardware, a formed fiberglas cowling and aluminum fuel tank; a quick-build kit which contains a number of pre-fabricated components in addition to the standard pre-cut and formed parts found in the standard kit. Both kits come complete with easy-to-follow instructions and the industry’s finest full scale-full size blueprints. These blueprints allow the builder to essentially build the aircraft right on top of the blueprints with standard household tools. Standard construction kits can be completed by the average builder in 400–500 hours and quick-build kits reduce the construction time to 200–300 hours. Should you have any questions during the construction of your dream aircraft, Fisher Flying Products maintains an unparalleled factory tech-support team.

That name was later changed to the Teratorn Company, which then became Golden Circle Air. Products: T Bird II the wide cabin on the T-Bird II is refreshing, as is the visibility. KR Rand Robinson Engineering - Naperville, IL, U.S.A.
When Kend Rand designed his KR-1 in 1972, he also pioneered a state-of-the-art foam-and-fiberglass composite construction method which has now become standard in homebuilt, commercial, and military aircraft. Its strength-to-weight ratio is superior to conventional construction methods, and the ease of shaping compound curves produces fast, clean surfaces that even the novice can master. The resulting aircraft are lightweight and trailerable.  The KR-1 is the single seat low wing retractable monoplane which is typically powered by smaller VW engines, up to the VW 2100. The KR-1B motorglider is a standard KR-1 with modified outer wing sections. With this simple wing conversion, the original KR-1 becomes an excellent self-powered glider.  The KR-2 is a high speed two-place side-by-side monoplane. As with all KR's, the KR-2 is equipped with removable wings, and your choice of retractable, fixed conventional, or tricycle gear.  The KR-2S is the latest KR in the fleet. It includes a 16 inch stretch in the fuselage over the standard KR-2, more head and leg room and pre-molds made of the latest oven-cured, vacuum-bagged pre-pregs. Its stylish raked canopy and fixed landing gear give it a racy appearance that is only exceeded by its performance. The KR-2S will accomodate engines including VW's, Subaru derivatives, Continental C-85's, and O-200's.
