During those 35 years the many friendships and memorable experiences had an everylasting affect on the lives of the Ozark family and our friends. A quick overview of Ozark Air lines 1950 - 1986. Ozark started commerical service September 1950 (4 - DC3 aircraft) between St. Louis, Missouri USA (Park Airport) and Chicago, Illinois with enroute stops at Springfield, Decatur and Champaign Illinois. The airlines ceased operating under the name of Ozark Air Lines October 1986 when TWA bought the carrier and took over it routes and aircraft.
