Airplane Collectible Best Net Resource
Making paper airplane is an easy and cheap hobby (only requires a sheet of paper, that's all) but making paper airplane to fly higher, further and preferably land in style can also be an interesting and challenging task. So while you are waiting to save up some money to get a good RC flying airplane model, perhaps paper airplane model is a much cheaper alternative to experiment and work on at the meantime. Here are some of the best paper airplane resource sites I have found on the Internet. They provide clear and illustrated instructions to help you make these paper airplanes easily.

Amazing Paper Airplanes
The paper airplanes presented in this web page include my old favorites as well as new designs that I recently created for my grandson Jonathan. This web page is made to share my designs world wide with other children, their parents and their teachers who enjoy paper airplanes. This page presents four models from my original design and one modified version from another. These were selected because of their interesting shape and good flight performance. All passed the Trans-living-room flight test, meaning it flew more than 25ft with a gentle horizontal toss across my living room, wall-to-wall. Each paper airplane is named by its real airplane counterpart. The counterpart airplane is chosen based on the resemblance of airplane appearance. A brief summary of the real airplane is included to help imaginations during paper airplane activities.

Best Paper Airplanes in the World
The DC-3 of the paper airplanes. When he started folding the paper, I knew this was something different, something special. He never explained how he did it but every move, every fold, every detail was burned into my memory. After he finished, we walked the porch handrail and he gently tossed it horizontally towards the street. It glided like no paper airplane I have ever seen before, it was acting like a REAL airplane. It gently curved into the slight breeze and began to rise vertically without moving forward. The craft then began to lower as if it were a helicopter and gently came to rest on the asphalt below. Over the years, I have shown many eight year old children this paper plane. I don't know if they will remember but I hope they pass the knowledge on.

Exotic Paper Aircraft
This is a collection of a few of my favorite paper airplanes. Much of this was developed during 5 years of sitting through French classes. I now use the Gallery photo engine to manage the folding instructions. Among other things, this means:  You can now add comments to individual instructions. This should provide a good forum for things people are having trouble with, and maybe even provide a means for people other than me to lend help. (Of course, I reserve the right to delete inappropriate or profane comments with extreme prejudice.  You can vote and then view poll resuls for these aircraft. This may help other people find a good model to start with, and let me know which ones need work. Finally, all of this automation should make it easier for me to create detailed instructions. I'll spend the next few bouts of insomnia adding new stuff (I currently have a HSCT, a canard which still needs some refinement, a payload bomber, and even a boat to add), redoing some of the older / low quality aircraft in more detail, and adding pictures & links to other people's aircraft.

Fighter Jet Paper Airplane
Fighter Jet Paper Airplane Instructions. The design of the fighter jet paper airplane on this page is not mine. However, the instructions at that site are quite hard to follow. Plus, I've standardized the instructions somewhat so there is no variability left in the design. Congratulations to that site's designer, as he's devised a really nifty airplane. This page merely gives better instructions that will help you make the airplane. I hope you enjoy the end result!

JazzyJet
The JazzyJet was the first of my model designers and has been around for several years entartaining young people and adults. As with JazzJett II it is an economical and fun to build model airplane. This Differs the JazzJet II in that it only needs to be printed on one side of carstock. This model requires minimal materials to build and is ideal for the novice paper builder. It's a great idea for a classroom project or lunchtime entertinment at work!

Joseph Palmer's Paper Airplanes
Joseph Palmer's Paper Airplanes. 4 paper airplane designed to fly!  They are not meant to be models of real planes, and they are not meant to be pretty display models. (In fact they really fly much better if you don't decorate them!). Unlike the common schoolyard 'dart' designs, these planes are designed to have lift; if you throw at a point on the ground about 10 feet away — they will fly up. I've followed a few self-imposed rules in their design. The plane must be folded from a single piece of 8 1/2 x 11" paper; no cutting of the paper is allowed; no weights may added; no glue or tape may be used.
